Imagine top-notch comedy, two or three seasoned performers with unique "hooks," and beneath it all, an implicit but not preachy message of healing and understanding.
That's what The Laugh In Peace presents. And that's why audiences of Jews, Muslims, and Christians throughout North America and England find themselves enjoying marvelous evenings of sustained, non-political laughter.
Bob primarily works with Mo Amer and Ahmed Ahmed, two internationally-beloved Arab Muslim comedians. On many occasions, the show expands to three comics with the welcome addition of Rev. Susan Sparks, a Baptist minister.
"Currently, we perform at universities, mosques, synagogues, churches, theatres, corporate events and other venues. Each show lasts approximate 100 minutes, ending with a Q and A session. We hang out with the crowd till after everyone leaves." |

"...your voices offer powerful lessons of reconciliation and understanding through the language of laughter and joy. I can't think of a more timely message for our world."
Juliana Oyegun, Chief Diversity Officer, The World Bank Group
On behalf of MSA, Hillel, UTK, and everyone that attended Thursday's show, I want to sincerely thank you all for a truly wonderful experience. We got a huge amount of positive feedback - numerous people told me that their faces and stomachs were hurting from laughing so hard, which to me is a sure sign of success. We thank God that everything came together and worked out so well, and we ask your forgiveness for any shortcomings on our part. We wish you all the best in continuing the important work that you do.
Again, thank you so much!
Layla Husain, Muslim Students Association, University of Tennessee
